Our Origin

AC-Eduworks was built on a simple but powerful belief: that every professional deserves access to world-class learning. Founded by Dr. Andrew Chew, the name "AC" carried the identity of its founder — a mark of personal commitment and hands-on expertise in Generative AI, marketing, and corporate training.

Over the years, AC-Eduworks grew beyond a consultancy into a trusted learning partner for over 1,100 professionals across NTUC Learning Hub, SUSS, NTU, Vertical Institute, and leading corporates like DP World APAC and Nespresso Singapore.

But as the mission expanded, a question emerged: should our name still reflect one person — or should it speak to the thousands of people we serve, and the many more we aspire to reach?

The Reason for Change

Names carry meaning. AC-Eduworks — built from the initials of its founder — served us well as a start. It communicated credibility, personal accountability, and a founder-led approach to learning. But it also placed the spotlight on one individual, rather than on the professionals and organisations we exist to transform.

Impactus Learning shifts that spotlight entirely. The name is not about who built it — it is about who benefits from it. It positions the brand around outcomes: the measurable, lasting impact that great learning creates in the careers of individuals and the performance of organisations.

"Impactus" draws from the Latin root for impact — a deliberate nod to a learning philosophy that goes beyond attendance and certificates, towards real capability, real confidence, and real transformation.
